Surprised Birthday Mail from Down Under!

Wow! Another surprise for me from my pen-pal of Down Under. Although my birthday has passed, I still received birthday gifts from my foreign friend, Andrea. She is from Tasmania, Australia.
Well, Andrea has surprised me with a birthday card, 2 fridge magnets, which are in Boomerang shape and another one in the night view of Hobart, Tasmania. Moreover, she has also sent a mini badge of the Beatles to my niece. Last time, Andrea has sent 2 large posters of The Beatles to my niece for her birthday in May and now another little surprise for her. Andrea is just so lovely.
Anyway, both my niece and I would like to thank Andrea for the lovely gifts and my niece likes the badge very much as she is surprised to receive it! Haha! As for me, I am also happy to receive such lovely gifts especially the fridge magnets as I would stick them on my fridge.
Wow! The night view of the Hobart makes me would like to travel to Hobart someday as I only visited the Launceston in Year 2000 for my university convocation. So, my next destination would be Hobart and then to meet Andrea. Haha! J
Lastly, I would like to thank Andrea again and hope that we could meet in person someday. I would like to wish Andrea and her family to have a Happy and Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!!! J

My Birthday Gifts from Foreign Pen-Pals!

Hi all! If you have been followed my blog, you should be known that 19th November was my birthday. Well, I have received some gifts from my foreign pen-pals before and on the day of my birthday.

The first birthday gift I have received from my pen-pal is from my Dutch pen-pal. Her name is Angela. She has written a note on the back of the envelope and told me "Do not open the mail until the 19th November". So, I was waited until my birthday and then to open it. Wow, a 3D birthday card together with a letter set. They are lovely and I like them very much. Thank you Angela! :) I kept my promised, I really opened the mail on my birthday! :)
Gifts from Dutch friend, Angela
The second birthday gift was from my pen-pal which is sent from Japan, by Kimmy. Well, actually both of us were swapping birthday card as we are having the same birthday. :) I like her birthday gifts for me as the gifts were "sweet"and lovely. Kimmy has sent me green tea bag and Japanese coffee stick. As you can see from the picture below, there were also the staff of Hello Kitty, which is one of my favourites, a lovely stationery set, a red fish bag a lovely calendar of Year 2015. Wow, I like her birthday gifts to me very much. I hope that she would like the birthday gifts that I sent to her too! :) Thus, Arigato Gozaimazu to Kimmy-san!!! Thank you, Kimmy!!! :) I hope we would do it again in our next birthday! :P

Gifts from Japanese Friend, Kimmy

The other 2 postcards are a surprised to me. They are sent from New Zealand and Russia respectively. I have received these 2 postcards on the day of my birthday as I really appreciate them. The first one was from Gordon, New Zealand. He has sent me a postcard with 2 Guardian Angels. I was wondering if it was a coincidence or was it a faith that 2 Guardian Angels have came to me on my birthday after I have suffered from my hospitalisation. Anyway, I would take the Guardian Angels to protect and guide me in my future! Thus, thank you Gordon for the lovely postcard. I will appreciate it very much! :)

The another card was sent by Yana, Russia to me. It is a lovely art postcard. I think it is cute as I like it too. Thus, thanks to Yana!

So, these are my foreign birthday gifts for this year. Although there are not many or any valuable stuff for some people maybe, for me they are very precious to me as I would appreciate them very, very much. Once again, thank you to Angela, Kimmy, Gordon and Yana for your beautiful gifts! THANK YOU!!! :) May God bless you all!!! :)

Postcards Received during my "Special Vacation"!

During my "special vacation" in last month, I have received some surprised postcards. Those postcards were from different places of the world. They were from Finland, Germany, Russia and USA.

The first postcard was from Katja from Finland. Katja written on the postcard that the national bird of the Findland is Swan. The postcard was showing the view of the Hell Lake of Finland.

The second postcard was from a 15 year-old girl named Anastasia. I like her name. :P Anastasia was a very honest girl as she said she was actually wanted to send me a postcard with snow view but she has written my address on the wrong postcard. Thus, in the end, she sent me such postcard with her own drawings of a girl who was enjoying the snowign at the back of the postcard. I think it is so sweet of Anastasia. Anyway, I still like the postcard that she sent to me! :)

The next was the German postcard. The beautiful red tulips view which was sent by Katarina from Germany. According to Katarina, she was living in the beautiful town called Speyer from Germany. Moreover, she also written a birthday greetings to me! I am so touched by her! :)

The last cute creature postcard, with the striped skunk was sent by Darlene, from USA, to me. Darlene was the friend of mine to exchange postcards or emails to keep in touch with each other. So, Darlene was sending this cute postcard to me for the Halloween.

Lastly, I would like to thank all of the postcrossers or my friends above for sending me the lovely postcards. I would like to inform that I like all the postcards and would like to say a big "THANK YOU" to you all! May you all keep sending postcards to make people happy! Cheers!!! :)

The End of my “Special Vacation”!

A week has passed since I ended my “special vacation”. I had been taken 27 days for it! L

Wow! During those 27 days of my “special vacation”, this actually was my hospitalised in a hospital. I was having the blood test regularly, being the “guinea pig” for the medical students or the doctors whom would go for their specialist for examined. Sometimes, even the student nurses also came to me, but of course I rejected some of them too. As too many made me frustrated.

During my hospitalised, I had met 3 neighbours whom are the patients who next to my bed. One of them who had become my longest duration of neighbour was discharged a day earlier than me. She was an old granny whom aged 76 and with breathing problem. But she was a very friendly and happy granny. Both of us were talked in our mother tongue, Hakka, one of the dialects of Chinese as both of us were Hakka. The other 2 neighbours were a Chinese lady and Malay lady. But they were stayed for a short time.

Anyway, during my hospitalised, I was very bored, so I was online with my mobile phone and readings, sleeping to rest. Sometimes I was also watching movies with my laptop. This was how I spent my time there. My friends and relatives came to visit me sometimes. I even received a basket of flowers with fruits from my friends who could not come to visit me. I was surprised to receive it! :P My mother was there for me everyday as she brought the home cooked food for me. I was really grateful to my mum as she was having leg pain and still came to see me everyday. On the first two days of my hospitalised, she was even staying overnight with me in the ward. I was feeling really grateful to mum but at the same time also feeling sorry to her that I had caused trouble to her and my family at home too. My mum had to rush from home to bring me the food as I did not like to eat the food that served by the hospital as mainly spicy or was not tasted good.

Anyway, the nurses and the staff were very friendly to me during my hospitalised and I even had the room with the view of the city. Thus, I could see night view and fireworks displayed on the Eve of Deepavali and Awal Muharram. I could see the fireworks from different places! :P Well, at least it helped me to forget the time I was in the hospital. Guess what?! When my chest specialist told me that I could be discharged, OMG, I was so happy and I thanked him so much and another doctor saw me and felt happy for me too. After suffering 27 days, “kissed” by the “vampires”, I meant blood taking by the doctor for blood test, I could stop all those suffer! Until today, even a week had passed; my hands still have some bruises as not fully recovered from the needle poking! L

One week has passed since I ended the “special vacation”! The feeling is GOOD to be at home! Feel nice to sleep on my own bed. However, I have to stay at home for the moment as I needed to avoid going to the public / crowded places as advised by the doctor. Next I have to go back for my follow-up in beginning of December together with the chest X-ray. Hopefully I would be better at that time. During at home, I am trying to eat and to put on weight as I had lost weight on my “vacation”. So, I am trying to eat more and healthy food to put on weight now.

Lastly, I would like to thank all the doctors, nurses and staff who being friendly and taken good care of me during my hospitalised. To thank my friends and relatives who came to visit me and to thank my friends who had given me support, cheer-up on my FB. I am really touched by you all. However, there was one person that I would like to say “THANK YOU” the most is to my dearest mother. She is always there for me no matter what had happened to me, no complaints from her and always staying by my side. I know that is the love of mother to her child. Thus, I would like to say to my mother, I LOVE YOU & THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING YOU HAVE DONE FOR ME!!! J

My "Special Vacation"

Today is the day 12 of my "special vacation". But don't be jealous or feel happy for me for already having 12 days of vacation. My "special vacation" is meant that I have been admitted into the hospital!

Yes, today is the day 12 of my staying in the hospital since 9th October 2014. The reason for the admission is I am having bacteria infections in the lung. Thus, I need to have the antibiotics treatment. My treatment is having 3 types of different antibiotics, they are Amikaxin, Lefloxacin, and Azithromizin. The Amikaxin is required to be in I.V treatment whereas the other 2 antibiotics are in oral treatment.

Besides the antibiotics treatment, I also have to be "kissed" by the "vampire" in every 3 days. This means that I would have blood test in every 3 days to check if the quantity of the antibiotics is suited for  me, or required to increase or decrease the dosage. Moreover, the blood test is required to be done at before and after the antibiotic I.V treatment. This is the reason I called "vampire" for the doctor who comes to take my blood, ie . "kiss"! Haha! Don't you think my description is suitable for that?! :P

Well, my special vacation has to be here at least until month end. I am still waiting for the result of the bronchoscopy which I have done on the day of my admission. Once the result is out,  the doctor then only found out the exact sickness of mine and decide for further decision. Thus, my "special vacation" is depend on my broncocospy result.

I wish this special vacation would be ended soon so that I could return to my home. May God blessing me!! !

Japan Mt. Fuji Postcard !

My sister and niece have sent me a postcard from the Mt.Fuji, Japan, when they travelled to Japan during the school holidays. I only received the postcard on 1/10/2014. Anyway, it is a very beautiful postcard indeed and I like it very much.

My sister and niece have visited the top of the Mt. Fuji and they bought a postcard at the souvenir shop there and sent from the post office which located at the Mt. Fuji. Anyway, the beautiful postcard that they sent to me is enclosed with a Mt. Fuji stamp too. Mt. Fuji is the world cultural heritage with the height of 3776 meter. I will appreciate this postcard very much as it is very beautiful and also is sent by my family during their trip. Thus, I would like to thank both to my sister and lovely niece. Thank you! My Wonderful Dutch Mail

Dutch Mail

I have received my mail from my Dutch pen-pal, Angela in last week. As always, Angela has given me surprise with her wonderful mail. From the pictures, we could see that Angela has spent much effort for the mail, for example, the packaging.

Angela is always enclosed some gifts to me besides the letter. She would enclose the Dutch tea as usual, and this time, she has sent me a Dutch birthday card, a mini toy and a bad hanger. Of course she has enclosed her wonderful letter too. I am really appreciate her kindness.

Angela has written in the letter that she and her family have went to Dubai for summer holidays for she did not enjoy so much. The reason was she has lost some of her friends in the flight #MH17 which was happened on 17/7/2014 that the plane was shot down by the missile. She was feeling sad to hear the news.

However, she has written in the letter that Dubai is a wonderful city and it is really luxury. They had stayed on the palm Jumeirah hotel which called Atlantis. In the hotel, there is a big aquarium and an aqua park. People could feed the sharks, dive, and swim with the dolphins. It is like a fairytale and so spectacular beautiful.

Dutch Gifts
According to Angela in the letter, Dubai has 35 malls and they had visited 3 of them. They also went to the world's tallest building, Burj Khalifa with 839 metres high with 124 stories. The view was fantastic and they had seen the Water world show and boats in the Marina.

I am so jealous of Angela's Dubai holidays as I had been to Dubai for transit when I went to Italy for my trip in few years back. However, I have no idea that Dubai is such beautiful. Anyway, I would like to thank Angela for her wonderful mail and gifts.

Dutch Letter and Gifts
Lastly, to Angela, thank you for your wonderful mail and wish we could be a long-term pen-pal.Once again, thank you. :)
