Niece's 15th Birthday on 15/5/2015!!!

Time flies! In last year, about 3 months before my dearest niece's birthday, I was asking my friends from locally and overseas for the Beatles's stuff, eg. cards, posters, etc.. as my niece is a big fan of The Beatles. She is still their fan now. Anyway, in last year, I really appreciate the favour of the friends who have sent the stuff of the Beatles to my niece and she really was surprised for her birthday! You may refer to the "A Surprise to My Lovely Niece!" which I posted in last year! :P

Anyway, yesterday was the 15th birthday of my dearest niece, YC. However, I did not give any surprises to her in this year. I only given her a lovely birthday card. Then my family and I dined at the Japanese restaurant called Sushi Tei to celebrate her 15th birthday. By the way, YC is a girl who likes to eat Japanese food! Hehe! :P

We have ordered few types of sets, for example, Soba noodle, Udon noodle, Sukiyaki, friend chicken cutlets, beef, salmons, Yakitori don set, etc.. We all were enjoying the meal very much and in the end all of us were felt very fulfilling. Then We bought a piece of cheese and chocolate cake for my niece, YC as her birthday. The pictures below show our meal.

Overall, this was how we celebrated YC's 15th birthday. As her aunt, I would like to wish YC "Happy Birthday" again and all her wish would come true. On the other hand, I am also wishing her to have happiness always, stay in good health and to become a good, smart and an elegant girl. 

Lastly, I would like to tell my dearest YC that all of us in the family are loving her very much. I would be always by her side if she requires any favours! ! I love you, YC!!! 😊 

Family Clan Reunion Dinner!



Hi there! It is the weekend again. In last weekend, I was enjoying a family clan reunion dinner cum birthday celebration feast in an old famous Chinese restaurant called Sek Yuen Restaurant.

There were about 35 of us and of course that was not the total number of people for my family clan. We are more than that! :P Anyway, we were enjoying the meal very much. There were 4 round tables of us for the meal.

There were 6 dishes for the meal, which including, steamed fish, chicken, roasted duck, chinese sausage rice, vegetable (cooked broccolis), prawns, meat, and 3 different types of flavours of home-baked cake. You may see from the pictures below :-

There were 4 birthday parties in this celebration. They are my youngest uncle, 2 aunts and my second nephew, as shown as the picture above. All of them are having the same birthdate, which is 23rd of April. Yes, it was an early birthday celebration.

The 3 different types of flavours of cakes were baked by the girl-friend of my birthday nephew. Doesn't she is amazing?!

Anyway, it was an enjoyable feast for the night as I managed to meet my relatives. I hope we would have a reunion of the family clan as that we would meet each other often!

Family Dinner Gathering

Last Saturday, 14th June was the day for my Loh family gathering dinner, it could also be the pre-celebration of the Father's Day and the farewell party to my uncle who was returning to Melbourne, Australia.

On that day, I had managed to meet my uncles, aunties, cousins,nephews and nieces whom I did not meet for long time. It was even my first meeting for some of my cousins' husband or fiances. :p Anyway, on that dinner, I only realised that I have became the aunt of 15 nephews and nieces. Wow! Can you imagine that?! Haha!!!

Anyway, during that dinner, we took many pictures and some of us even did selfie. We had taken a whole family group photo, but it was not all the members of my Loh family due to some of my cousins, uncle and aunt were absent for the dinner. If all of us were there for the photo, I think it would be a wonderful picture. :) The picture above is our group photo! Isn't nice?!

Most of us were enjoying the dinner as the adults were drinking wine and the ones under the aged 21 were drinking soft drinks. There was a a little joke jas happened, that was my cousin sister-in-law had got drunk with the liquor as she tried to bottoms up with my uncles and her sister in-law. She is the person who could not drink Liquor but she was newly married to my cousin brother few months back from Vietnam. So, this was her first time to meet all the family members/relatives.

When she got drunk, I saw she was suffering as she was crying. This reminded me that I almost got drunk with the white wine during my Italy trip in few years back. I got so high after drinking the wine and luckily I managed to vomitted out after I returned to my hotel room and fall asleep. I recalled that i was having giddiness and luckily I did not have any headache on the next day after I got up from bed. Hehe! :p Since then, I stopped drinking any liquor/alcohol drinks as I would get rashes too after drinking it!

Lastly, I want to say that I was having a wonderful dinner at that day and I wish that all my relatives would stay in good health and happy always!!! :)

A Surprise to my Lovely Niece! ♡

 

Yesterday, 15th May was my lovely niece, YC aka Jaycee celebrated her 14th birthday. I have given her a big surprise birthday gifts to her. Well, as I know she is a very big fan of the group band, The Beatles, I have made a collection of the Beatles from the world wide for her surprise.

 

The Beatles' collection include Birthday card, badge, postcards, magazine and posters. I requested from my pen-pals or postcard swappers from around the world started from February this year, yes, 3 months before Jaycee's birthday. :P

 

Well, the Beatles' collection is came from USA, Sweden, UK, Germany, Hong Kong, Canada, Australia, and Russia. Thus I really want to say a BIG THANK YOU to all my friends from the worldwide. I also mailed a THANK YOU token to them in return after receiving those collection from every one of them.

 

Anyway, I have to hide The Beatles' stuff everytime after I have received as I did not want to let my niece know about it. I just pretended that I was trying hard to look for her and told her not to have so much hope on it. Luckily YC also did not expect so much.

 

So, on the night before her birthday, I put all the small  items of the Beatles's collection in a gift bag, and the 2 big posters in a long round tube (as mailed as it was) and got ready to give Jaycee a surprise. I have put the gift bag and the poster tube along the staircase of the house. First, I have gave her a birthday card and then I was telling Jaycee to go to my room to get something as all of us were at the living room at that time. I also told her if she has seen something on the staircase, picked them up along. So, I heard she was saying "Wow!" Then I told her there were 2 items on the staircase and she carried them and came back to the living room. I then told her those are the birthday gifts to her from me.

 

Then Jaycee started to open the gift bag and "digging" her surprise! She found the envelope and opened it and found it was a The Beatles birthday card and then a pack of postcards of The Beatles. That mail was sent from UK. Jaycee then surprised and excited and kept on taking out the items from the gift bag one by one and opened them to see. From her reactions, I know that she is very happy for her gift and when she opened one of the mail which is a magazine of The Beatles, Jaycee was blushing and she was even happier! She was kept on saying "Wow!" "Wah!" when she was opening her gifts. I was taking shots and video clips when she was opening her gifts!

 



When she has finished taken out all the items from the gift bag, she started to open the big round tube. When she found out there were 2 posters, she quickly rolled to see them and she was so happy to see them. She likes the posters very much.Then she said she would stick them on the wall of her room. Moreover, she is also pined the badge in her pencil case.

 

When I asked her is there any particular The Beatles collection that she likes the most, she said she likes or I should say she LOVES them all and she is very, very Happy to receive them. She told me it was really a big surprise for her. She even told me that I do not need to give her birthday present for next year birthday! Haha! Such a silly girl of her. I replied to her that I did so much for her because I love her as she is my niece. I told her to appreciate those gifts as they are from the worldwide and she noted. I know Jaycee would do so. She told me that she would post The Beatles collection in her own blog too.

 





On Jaycee's birthday, we celebrated with her at a Japanese restaurant. She ate her favourite beef. We all have had a happy dinner and all of us very fulfilling. Thus, this is how my niece, Jaycee, celebrated her 14th birthday.

 

Once again, I would like to thank all the friends who sent the Beatles collection to Jaycee and I wish Jaycee has a happy 14th birthday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, YC!!! I Love U!!! :)

First Receipt of the Beatles Collection

Yahoo! I have received my first postcard for my Beatles Collection as I posted on 5th March 2014. You may read the post here. According to my previous post, I have requested for the Beatles collection for my niece's birthday gift. Thus I have received a postcard from Catherine, who is from USA.

In the postcard, Catherine has written that her 12 year-old son is also loves The Beatles as my niece. Thus, when she has read my message, she has sent me this postcard and she also written a birthday greetings to my niece.

Anyway, I really grateful to Catherine for her favour and I have replied her with a thank you gift as promised. Once again, thank you Catherine!!! ^.^

A Birthday Surprise of The Beatles' Collection for My Niece!!! ^.^

Hi all!

 

My teenager niece is a very big fan of The Beatles! Yes, a 13 year-old girl likes The Beatles!!! She is watching all the movies, animations of The Beatles always. Moreover she is playing the songs of the Beatles on the piano everyday, listens to their songs too. My niece’s birthday is coming in 2 months time I wish to go through this blog to collect the postcards, pictures, posters, badges, or anything which relates to The Beatles as the birthday gift for my niece from the worldwide. I will send a thank you card to you if you have sent me the Beatles’ stuff. Oops, kindly explain the reason for the Beatles’ stuff you send to me and write a birthday greetings to my niece. Her name is Jaycee, she will celebrate her 14^th birthday in the mid of May. I want to give my niece a surprise, please help me!!!

Cousin's Wedding Ceremony in Vietnam on 21.12.13

Today is Saturday, 21.12.2013. It is the wedding day of my cousin brother. My cousin brother is having his wedding ceremony at Vietnam today due to his wife is a Vietnamese.

Many of my relatives have gone to Vietnam a few days ago to attend my cousin brother’s wedding ceremony. I am not able to attend his wedding ceremony today due to I am not allowed to take flight as advised by my lung specialist. If you have been following my blog, you would know that I was having twice for pneumothorax in this year. Anyway, I have explained my reason to my cousin brother for not being able to attend his wedding ceremony at Vietnam and he understood.

Actually I am quite close to this cousin brother as we used to play often during our childhood days. He is a year younger than I am. When I know he would get married, I am very happy for him. J

My cousin brother has a beautiful romance story with his wife I think. Both of them meet through FB, and this is how they started the relationship. Thus, 2 people meet, 2 people smile, 2 people talk, 2 people laugh, 2 people love, 2 people promise, and 2 people forever! I am wishing the couple to have a happy marriage.

Lastly, I would like to wish my cousin brother and his wife to have a beautiful life together after their marriage. Forever, Commitment, Love, Joy, Happily ever after begins today. Congratulations to the new couple!!! :D

 

 

 

Happy Mother's Day!!!

Today is the Mother's Day of Yr.2013. However, I feel sorry to my mum that I am still in the hospital today and could not have a celebration with her together with my family.

 

But still I would like to wish my mum Happy Mother's Day and I Love You, Mum!!! :)
