The Lovely Dutch Postcard

I received a postcard from Helena, Netherlands in 2 days ago. It is a very lovely postcard. The postcard is a blond lady who is wearing a hat with many fruits and the card is very colourful too. I like it very much.
Helena writes in the card that she is from a city called Haarlem, it is between the Amsterdam and the sea. Overall she writes a friendly message.

Postcard from Shen Zhen, China

I received another postcard from Jun, from ShenZhen, China in last week. This time she has sent me a postcard with the city view of ShenZhen.  This is the second postcard that I received from her.
The postcard shows the modern city of ShenZhen and also there are many green trees available in such city. According to Jun, there is a phrase in Shen Zhen. It is " If you have come to Shen Zhen, you would become the people of ShenZhen!".
Well, like I said I visited to Shen Zhen before and I think it is a nice city. Once again, I would like to thank Jun for the card. :)

The Malaysian Visit Tour of the Royal Couple

The date 13 - 15 September 2012 are the happy days for the fans of the royal couple, ie. the Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, UK. The reason is that both of them have visited Malaysia on those day, the capital, Kuala Lumpur and Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
The fans of the royal couple managed to meet them at the KLCC park, KLIA, mosque or dinner. During this trip, the beauty, Ms. Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge has given her first official speech (outside of UK), and she has also shown the Malaysians about her fashions.
Let us recap some of the photogenic scenes of the royal couple while they visited Malaysia.

Postcard of Vermont

I received a beautiful postcard of Vermont from Joe, USA. It is a postcard with beautiful and colorful leaves. Joe writes in the postcard that he was having the summer holidays with his sons at Vermont and they were enjoying there. They had done the kayaking, hiking and even saw a bear at Vermont. They seemed to have an enjoyable holidays!!!
No doubt, this is another postcard in my favourite list and I would like to say " THANK YOU" to Joe for sending me such a beautiful postcard. :)

Postcard of London Double Decker Bus from Czech Republic

I received a postcard of the London red double decker bus from the Czech Republic in last week. It is from, Motol. He writes in the card that he bought such postcard when he visited London in last month. I am wondering if he was going for the London Olympics 2012! Haha! :)
Anyway, I would like to thank him for the postcard as it is one of my favourite list. Motol, thank you for the postcard!!! :) I wish that I could have a ride of the double-decker when I travel to London next time! :P

UPSR Exams is Coming!!

The UPSR exams of the primary schools of the whole country would be started from tomorrow for 3 days (11/9/2012 - 13/9/2012). My 2 nieces and a nephew would be attending such exams and wish all of them to have the best of luck and good luck in their exams.
Well, I recalled my UPSR exams in the old days. I was having a bit nervous for it but in the end I managed to do well for it. Guess what, I scored a very good results instead. Haha! :)
Lastly, I would like to advice my nieces and nephew to stay calm for their exams and did not need to be nervous for it. Just do your best! GOOD LUCK to you all!!! :)

Another Maple Leaf Postcard

I received another beautiful maple leaf postcard. It is from Natalia, Russia.
The maple leaf on the postcard is in purple color and with the dew, i think it is really beautiful and makes the maple leaf very fresh!!! :) Anyway, I would like to thank Natalia for the card as it is on the list of my favourite cards.

London 2012 Olympic Postcard

Wow! I am surprised to receive a London 2012 Olympic postcard from Irina, England on last day of August 2012. This postcard is the official product of London 2012 and I think it is beautiful and meaningful.

The sender, Irina is a Russian from Ukraine and married to a Welsh man and living in England. She is saying that United Nations Forever. I think so too. Anyway, I would like to say THANK YOU to Irina for sending me a beautiful postcard and I like it very much! Thanks again!!! J

My Chinese Postcards

I received some postcards from China and Taiwan respectively in last week. 2 postcards from China one is from Taiwan.
National Dong Hwa University of Taiwan

My received Taiwanese postcard is from Fei-Hsuan. She sends me a postcard of the National Dong Hwa University (国立东华大) view. This university is located at the Hualien (花莲) of Taiwan. Fei-Hsuan is living in the eastern of Taiwan and she tells me that she is graduated from such university and her majors are Physical Education and Kinesiology. According to her, NDH University is beautiful and large. 

The postcards that I received from China are from ShenZhen, Guangzhou and Xiamen Gulangyu Island.

Fany sends me the postcard with the view of the fishing boat of Xiamen. She also pasted some beautiful Chinese stamps on the postcard. They are beautiful and I like them.

YiJun sends me the postcard from ShenZhen. She tells me that ShenZhen is the 4th largest city in China. According to her, this city is a coastal city with over 10 million people who enjoying a warm and wet climate. YiJun tells me that she is looking forward to visit Malaysia. I visited ShenZhen before in few years back and it is a nice place. I wish JiYun will enjoy her trip at Malaysia next time.

The postcard that YiJun sends me is very “Chinese” as it shows the traditional way of the advertisement of the beauty products of the women in the old days. I think it is around the period of 20s or 30s. I think it is interesting and I like it.

With all these Chinese cards I received, I would like to thank to YiJun, Fany and Fei-Hsuan again. THANK YOU / 谢谢!!!

The Adorable Baby Koala from Down Under

I received a lovely postcard from Penny, Australia. She sends me a postcard with the adorable baby koala. The postcard is a first day of issue with a special stamp and postmark. I like it very much as I think it is lovely.

Penny tells me that she lives in a very small rural town and she loves it due to there is lots of space and wildlife. She also says that she is lucky to see the kangaroos every day. I feel happy for her that she has a “free” space as unlike me that living in a big city with stress! L

Beautiful Canadian Maple Leaf Postcard

A beautiful Canadian maple leaf postcard for me from Elaine, Canada. The card shows the autumn leaves and moreover it has pasted with a stamp of Titanic. I am really very glad to receive the postcard and the stamp. I like it very much.

Elaine tells me that maple leaves are a common sight at Canada and she loves the autumn when the maple leaf shows the beauty. She also mentions that there is a beautiful maple leaf tree just outside her bedroom window. She has a view of the maple leaves first thing in the morning and it is a great way to start for the day.  Wow, I am jealous of her as I also like to see the beautiful maple leaves as they are not available in Malaysia! L Sob!

Maple Leaf is one of my favourite plant and this is the reason I named my blog “MapleLeaf”! : P Well, I wish someday that I could have a beautiful view of the autumn maple leaves in the first thing of my morning!

My First 3D Postcard

Yahoo! The Diddlina hippe hologram (3D) postcard for me. This is the first time that I received the 3D / hologram of the postcard. The lovely Diddl 3D postcard is sent from Monique, the Netherlands.
Monique has the collection postcard of the Diddl and willing to exchange with the friends over the world. Thus, I got the postcard by exchanging a postcard with her. I was really happy when I received such postcard due to it is the collection of Diddle and it is very lovely and beautiful too with the hologram.
I shown the postcard to my niece and she likes it too. I wish I would have more collection from the Diddle collection.

My First collection of Slovakia Postcards

I was surprised to receive 10 postcards (at the same time) from Slovakia about 2 weeks ago. They are sent by Justyna from Slovakia to me. She sent me all 10 cards enclosed in an envelope. According to Justyna, the ones that she sent to me are from her postcard collections
Justyna introduced Slovakia to me that it is a really small country and not so many people have visited there. She hopes that I could visit Slovakia someday which I also wish to do so! J My brother-in-law has travelled there before, I saw some of the pictures that he taken from Slovakia, they are beautiful, and thus I think Slovakia is a beautiful country!

Justyna tells me in her letter that actually she is originally from Poland and she is planning to have the wedding with her boyfriend and she is happy to be there. I feel glad for her too as I want to say Congratulations to her for her coming wedding!
Most of the cards are showing the views of the city, POPRAD, Slovakia. I get to know about Poprad from the postcards.
Thus, I would like to say THANK YOU to Justyna for all the Slovakian postcards! J
