Mails from Swedish Pen - pal!

I have received a letter and a postcard from my Swedish pen-pal, named Sophia. She has sent the letter to me which enclosed with the lovely writing letters. A few days later, I have received a postcard from her which is she sent from the Iceland during her summer vacation there.

In the letter, Sophia is interested to know more about my country, thus I replied her with some nice info about the Truly Asia, Malaysia! As for her postcard, she told me that she has walked on the glaciers. OMG! I am so jealous of her! Hehe! Just kidding! :P But i am wondering what is the feeling of walking on the glaciers.

The Iceland postcard that Sophia sent to me is with the view of a 10th century longhouse unearthed in Aoalstraeti 16 in Reykjavik. The longhouse is on display at the Settlement Exhibition Reykjavik 871+_2.

Anyway, i am happy to receive the mails from my Swedish pen friend and I would like to thank her for the wonderful mails. Once again, thank you Sophia! :)

Lovely Key chain!

The lovely keychain above is a souvenir from my new friend who has bought from London during her European trip. This new friend of mine is a physio therapist who I have met at IMU clinic in February this year. She is a Malay girl who has graduated from the physio therapy program. The day I met her was her third day after she started to work at the IMU.

This new friend of mine is a very nice person. She is very patient, considerate and  very kind to the patients. My mother and I are the patients of the IMU. When we were having our treatments, we sure would appoint her as our physio therapist. Thus, we did some chat and have know about the background respectively. For me, my such new friend is a very friendly and out-going lady. She likes to learn Chinese as she is able to speak some simple Chinese words. She even shown me her notebook or I should say her dictionary for learning the Chinese method from her Chinese friend. Moreover, she used to be a student exchange in the Germany for a year before. Therefore she knows German language too.

Although our age is different, i am elder than her, we still could able to communicate well as both of us have so much to talk about, eg. Health issues, travelling, family, etc.. I have shown her my Italy trip photo too.

Anyway, now my new friend is working at a hospital now. I also managed to meet her when I go for my medical check-up. Thus, in my last check-up on 13/8 in the hospital, i have met her and to my surprised, she has given me a lovely keychain. I have never thought of that she would buy me a souvenir. I am really appreciate it and I am very happy to have met a good friend as i am always staying at home since my health condition is not good.

Thus, i am very appreciate such friendship and hope we would be keep in touch always and be friends forever. Once again, thanks for the lovely keychain, my dear friend! :)

The "National Day of Mourning" for the Flight MH17

22/8/2014 is the day for the the 20 out of 43 of the victims of Malaysian coming back to home from the air crashed MH17 which shot down by the missile on 17/7/2014.

After more than a month, finally the some of the victims are able to return to their own home with a special flight for them from the Amsterdam, The Netherlands back to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. When I was watching the live show on the television for the whole ceremony in this morning, it made me very sad.

I was watching that the The caskets brought down from the aircraft and each to be carried by a team of eight pallbearers, from the 12th Malaysian Infantry Brigade on the TV. The  teams then headed to the respective hearses on the tarmac. After all the caskets and urns were brought to the respective hearses, the history moment, which was a minute of silence for the mourning was started and it was 10:54am, Malaysian time. I was feeling very sad and a bit sobbing when watching the caskets and urns were loading down from the aircraft as I think those are the innocent people. The I could imagine how sad that it was for all the families and friends of the 43 victims! When a minute of morning started, I also closed my eyes and prayed for the souls of the MH#17 and may all the fallen Malaysians to Rest in Peace (RIP).

No matter how, the 2nd batch of the victims would be welcome home on this Sunday, I wish the whole nation would pray for MH17 and MH370 and wish the families of those passengers would stay strong as life still goes on for them.

Lastly, I would like to wish all the people to support your family and friend as we could not expect what would be happened to our self in the next minute. Thus, I would like to wish all to stay in good health and happy always!!!

RIP, Mr. Robin Williams!!!

On 12/8/2014, I have seen a sad news, which is the entertainment industry has lost a great comedian/actor, Robin Williams! He was passed away on 11/8/2014 at age 63. I started to know Robin Williams from the Disney animation movie "Aladdin" and he was playing the voice for the character, Genie. Genie is a very funny character in such animation. Since then, I started to watch some of his comedy movies, eg. "Mrs. Doubtfire", "Jumanji", "Happy Feet" and then "Dead Poet Society", "Good Will Hunting".

For me, Robin Williams has always brings laughs, happiness to the audience and who would know that he himself has ended up his life by committed suicide. The reason was due to depression and Parkinson Disease. This makes me realise that no matter how happy a person was facing us, he/she might has her/his own problems hidden from people

I believe the sudden death of Mr. Robin Williams has made many people sad and shocked due to he used to bring laughter and happiness to people. Now we have lost such a great comedian/actor. Well, I just want to say that it is a great lost as as one the fans, we would not see him anymore and I hope he will be missed by all! RIP, Mr. Robbin Williams!!!
