The Klompen Postcard

Hi all! On 24th April, I have received a surprised postcard from the Netherlands. It is sent by Dini. She is from the south of the Netherlands. The postcard that Dini has sent to me is with the picture of the iconic Dutchland, which is the Klompen, the wooden Dutch clogs.

I like the postcard very much as it is lovely. I like the red color klompen as it has the painting of the another Dutch iconic, the windmill and it is quite colorful. Well, i wish to have a real pair of klompen for myself and I would like to visit the Netherlands someday as I am also some pen- pals from there!  :)

Anyway, I would like to thank Dini for the lovely postcard as it is definitely in my favourite list of postcard. Thanks again, Dini! :D

Family Clan Reunion Dinner!

Hi there! It is the weekend again. In last weekend, I was enjoying a family clan reunion dinner cum birthday celebration feast in an old famous Chinese restaurant called Sek Yuen Restaurant.

There were about 35 of us and of course that was not the total number of people for my family clan. We are more than that! :P Anyway, we were enjoying the meal very much. There were 4 round tables of us for the meal.

There were 6 dishes for the meal, which including, steamed fish, chicken, roasted duck, chinese sausage rice, vegetable (cooked broccolis), prawns, meat, and 3 different types of flavours of home-baked cake. You may see from the pictures below :-

3 different types of birthday cakes

The birthday guys and gals!

There were 4 birthday parties in this celebration. They are my youngest uncle, 2 aunts and my second nephew, as shown as the picture above. All of them are having the same birthdate, which is 23rd of April. Yes, it was an early birthday celebration.

The 3 different types of flavours of cakes were baked by the girl-friend of my birthday nephew. Doesn't she is amazing?!

Anyway, it was an enjoyable feast for the night as I managed to meet my relatives. I hope we would have a reunion of the family clan as that we would meet each other often!

Enjoy your day!!! :)

The European Mails!

I have received 2 European mails on mid of March and beginning of April respectively. They are from the Netherlands and Portugal. Both of the mails are from my favourite pen-pals.
The Dutch mail is from Angela. She has given me surprised again! :P Besides the letter, she also has sent me some lovely gifts, e.g. Dutch postcard with the picture of Dutch clogs and windmills, tea bags, soft stickers, and some wooden gifts. I would like to thank Angela for the mail very much.

In the letter, Angela has written that her son would be finished his primary school and she is busy looking for a new school for him and his son is excited to go to the high school too. Besides, looking for new school, Angela and her family would go for holidays too. Well, I hope they would enjoy their holidays!

Lovely Letter & Gifts from Angela

The second mail is from Edith, the Portugal. She has sent me a registered mail. Edith is a person who likes the Asian culture very much. She is attending the classes of Mandarin Chinese and Japanese. Guess what?! Her boyfriend is a Chinese too. J  According to Edith, she is enjoying the both classes very much and has received good results. But she prefers Mandarin Chinese than the Japanese. I am glad to hear that! J By the way, she is a university student who studies as a veterinary doctor.

Sometimes I wrote to her about our Chinese culture and she is very interested to know about it. Edith would visit my blog regularly as she mentioned as she would like to know what I have been blogging about! Hehe! :P Thanks for visit my blog, Edith! J

In the letter of Edith, she has written that she would go to holidays at Amsterdam, London Berlin and Venice with her friends for a week in the beginning of April. Well, I wish she would have enjoyed her holidays. Well, the places that she would visit are the places that I was looking forward to visit too except, Venice that I have visited before.
The Portuguese Mail from Edith

Anyway, I would like to thank both Angela and Edith for their wonderful mails as I yet to reply to them. However, I promise to write back to them soon as both of them have exchanged letters with me for more than 1 year now as both of them are in my favourite pen-pal list. :D

OK, I think it is the time for me to reply to them now. May God bless you all!!! :)

Surprised Lovely Postcard from Germany!

I have received a surprised lovely postcard from Corinna, Germany, in last week. The postcard is with the multiple views of the German city called Sonneberg. The most amazed me with the postcard is that it was signed by many different postcrossers at the back of the postcard as stated below.

The reason is that Corinna has participated in a Postcrossing Meetup in Nuremberg, a German city. I guess she was asking the favour of the Postcrossers to sign on the postcard and then mailed it to me. From the postcard, i could see the names of Nina, Thomas, Elva, Ewa, etc.. I was surprised to receive it as I like it very much.

I am also wish that there would be a Postcrossing Meetup in my city so that I could do the same and mail the postcard to all my Postcrossers from the worldwide.

Anyway, I would like to thank Corinna for the lovely postcard and i would reply to her soon. Once again, Thank you, my friend! :)
