The Surprised Asian Postcards Received in May 2015!!!

I have received 2 surprised Asian postcards in the month of May. The 2 postcards are sent from Hong Kong and Japan. Both of the postcards are very lovely.

The Japanese postcard is sent by Katuya. She is a lady who is learning the Chinese language. The postcard that she sent to me is pasted with the stamp of Doraemon, which is my 1st favourite cartoon character. Doraemon comic is also my first comic reading series since I was about 8 years old. Anyway, I would like to thank Katuya for the postcard.

The next postcard is from Fonni, Hong Kong. It is a postcard with the view of  the HK famous food, i.e. the Pineapple Bun. It is soft, sweet bun topped by crunchy crust. When served, a chunk of cold butter is stuffed into the bun. Basically, it contains no pineapple. It is called pineapple bun because its checkered crust resembles the skin of a pineapple.

I have tasted this bun when I visited Hong Kong last time. It is indeed very delicious! :D Anyway, I would like to thank Fonni for the "yummy" postcard! :)

Lastly, I want to say THANK YOU to both Fonni and Katuya again. Arigato gozaimasu! Xiexie! !

My New Aussie Pen-Pal! !!

Good day! This is the greetings words of the people from Aussie land. Yes, I have a new pen-pal from the Down Under, Australia. Her name is Tracy. She is from New South Wales. Tracy has surprised me with her letter in February. She has met me via the website "A Month of Letters" (LetterMo) campaign.
Both of us have participated the LetterMo campaign for 2 years. From this campaign, I have met some pen-pals from different countries, eg. Sweden. Australia, UK. It is fun to write the letters in handwritten instead of typing.
Tracy has written to me by introduced herself. She is a mother of 3 children and both of us are having same hobbies, like pen-palling, reading and exchanging postcards. Tracy has never visit my country, so she would like to know more about Malaysia.
I have replied to Tracy last week and introduced her about my beautiful country, and given her a recipe. I hope she would like it. I am looking forward to receive Tracy's reply and hope that we could be long-term pen-pals. :)

Niece's 15th Birthday on 15/5/2015!!!

Time flies! In last year, about 3 months before my dearest niece's birthday, I was asking my friends from locally and overseas for the Beatles's stuff, eg. cards, posters, etc.. as my niece is a big fan of The Beatles. She is still their fan now. Anyway, in last year, I really appreciate the favour of the friends who have sent the stuff of the Beatles to my niece and she really was surprised for her birthday! You may refer to the "A Surprise to My Lovely Niece!" which I posted in last year! :P

Anyway, yesterday was the 15th birthday of my dearest niece, YC. However, I did not give any surprises to her in this year. I only given her a lovely birthday card. Then my family and I dined at the Japanese restaurant called Sushi Tei to celebrate her 15th birthday. By the way, YC is a girl who likes to eat Japanese food! Hehe! :P

We have ordered few types of sets, for example, Soba noodle, Udon noodle, Sukiyaki, friend chicken cutlets, beef, salmons, Yakitori don set, etc.. We all were enjoying the meal very much and in the end all of us were felt very fulfilling. Then We bought a piece of cheese and chocolate cake for my niece, YC as her birthday. The pictures below show our meal.

Overall, this was how we celebrated YC's 15th birthday. As her aunt, I would like to wish YC "Happy Birthday" again and all her wish would come true. On the other hand, I am also wishing her to have happiness always, stay in good health and to become a good, smart and an elegant girl.

Lastly, I would like to tell my dearest YC that all of us in the family are loving her very much. I would be always by her side if she requires any favours! ! I love you, YC!!! 😊

Beautiful Taiwanese Postcard

Hello there! Ni hao! I have received a  beautiful Taiwan postcard from Cate in last week. Cate is from the Chia Yi City, Taiwan.
The postcard that Cate has sent to me is with the painting view of the Taiwan Ali Mountain Scared Tree and Steam train. I like such postcard very much. I know that Mt. Ali is very famous in Taiwan but I have missed to visit it when I travelled to Taiwan in years ago! :( Thus, I wish I could visit the Mt. Ali if I would have the chance to travel Taiwan again.
Cate is a an elementary school teacher and she also encourages her students to exchange postcards for the different cultures learning. Hence, I would like to send her a Thank you card as I think I would like to let her and her students to know more about my beautiful country.
Lastly, I would like to thank Cate for the lovely postcard as it is definitely in my favourite list! Xie Xie! 谢谢!!! :)

The Little Princess' Name Is Out!

Royal Princess named Charlotte Elizabeth Diana
Charlotte Elizabeth Diana

The little princess of Cambridge is out. Her name is Charlotte Elizabeth Diana. Wow, 2 out of my 5 guesses of the names have been selected! :) I am glad for it. :) Charlotte is the favourite name of all the British, especially her grandfather, Prince Charles. As for the name Elizabeth is come from the little princess's great grandmother who is the Queen Elizabeth II and as for Diana, no doubt, from her grandmother, Princess Diana. All the names are the most important people of Prince William.
Anyway, I guess both the Prince William and Duchess Catherine are happy to have a daughter and so as the British Royal Family. Moreover, many mummies are very surprised with the good figure of the Duchess as she still having the good figure after the delivered in a short time. I bet many mummies are jealous of her! Haha! :P
Lastly, I wish that both Prince William and Duchess Catherine would be having a happy family as ever after like the fairytale. Again, Congrats to the British Royal Family!!! :)
William waved proudly to those who had waited to see the new baby while he put an affectionate arm around his wife

Re : 1% or 99% ? !

Hi all! How was your weekend?! Fun? Relaxed? Tired? Anyway, wish you all were having a nice weekend and a great week ahead.

Based on my previous post, 1% or 99? !I have given a quiz for you all to challenge and glad some of you have participated. Thus, i would like to thank you for the people who have taken the challenge.

However, I am sorry to inform that all the answers are in the 99% group, who are answered wrongly. Actually, I have given this quiz to my friends and some children to answer, guess what?! The children have answered correctly and only few adults have given correct answer. Why?! The reason is that the adults have thought too much, a complicated thinking whereas the children are having simple thinking as they are not thought as much as the adults. The children can answered based on what they have seen.

Well, let me reveal the answer now. The correct answer is " 2 ". 2=5, thus 5=2!! Many people have answered "26", so they are fall under the 99%. But is is normal as I also one of them! Haha! :P

If you don't believe the answer, you may try it on yourself to the adults and children who are around you. Then you would know who would be the 1% or 99%! :D

2/5/2015 is the happiest day for the Britain and also the fans of the British Royal Family, Prince William and Princess Catherine as they have welcomed their newborn baby girl, the baby is a girl, a Princess!!! :) Congratulations to them!!! :)
I, as a fan of the British Royal Family also feel happy for the newborn baby. The Princess weights 3.7kg and "safely delivered" at 8:34 BST. Thus, little Prince George has a little sister now! The whole Britain is happy for this little Princess. (Picture as below)

Many people are guessing the name for the little princess. For me, I have 5 guessing choices, i.e. Diana, Alexandra, Annabelle, Virginia or Charlotte. Who knows?! Maybe I was right! Haha! :P
Anyway, I would like to say Congratulations to both Prince William and Princess Catherine again for the new member of the family, the little Princess!!! :)
