Other Sightseeings Shots in Italy

Siena

Naples

Sorrento

Pompeii

Other Sightseeings in Italy

Besides those cities that I travelled in Italy that I mentioned in my previous articles, there were some more places that I have travelled, i.e. Pompeii, Sorrento, Naples and Siena. Pompeii is the town frozen in time when it was engulfed by the eruption of Vesuvius in AD79. It reveals the daily life of the ancient Roma Civilisation. We could still see the bricks in the colored. We then went along the magnificent coastline of clifftop Sorrento. Sorrento consists of many lemons, thus I had taken a lemon ice-cream there and it was tasted good.

After that we drove along the seaside avenue via Francesco Caracciolo to see the beautiful scenery of Gulf of Naples district contains an exceptional of art and historical works. We visited the Castle Nuovo its name Maschio Angioino in honour of Charles of Anjou which was built in the 13th century.

Siena is the Renaissance rival of Florence. Walked through the narrow cobbled streets to the vast Campo Square where the biannual Palio horse race takes place to the accompaniment of great festivities.

So, these were the places that I visited in Italy. Besides Italy, I also travelled to the Monte Carlo, northern part of France and Switzerland. I will tell you more next time. Bye!

To Continue My Medication :(

I went to UMMC to have my chest check-up for my pulmonary tuberculosis illness this morning. I was thinking that my medication could be stopped since I have been taken the treatment for full 9 months. However, it was not meeting my wish; I have to continue my medical treatment for further 3 months. The reason is that my weight has not been put on, in fact, it has been reduced from my last follow-up about 2.5 months ago. Moreover, I am still having cough for sometime. Thus, the doctor wants me to continue my medical treatment until my next check-up after the medical tests.

I was sad as I was thinking that I could have stopped the medication. But it is not within my control, so I have to continue my medication still. Moreover, I have to put on my weight as advised by the doctor for 2kg to 5kg as I am underweight. Gosh, how am I going to gain weight within 3 months times for about 5kg?! I really don't know! :(

Well, if anyone of you have any suggestions for my weight gaining, please tell me! I am really appreciate for it. OK, that's for now as it is my dinner time. I have to eat more from today onwards. So, 5kg, here I come! :)

Happy 53rd Birthday, Malaysia!!!

Today is Malaysia's 53rd Birthday! It is the Independence Day of Malaysia, or it is also called Merdeka Day!

There is no outdoor parade for this year's celebration. In fact, it is the first time celebrations taken place in the indoor stadium for the Merdeka performance. It is take place at the Putra indoor stadium in Bukit Jalil.

I remember when I was a small kid, I used to watch the outdoor parade of the Merdeka celebration live on TV . All the armies, policemen, firemen are marching, all the school bands performance, the jets performance, etc.. for this celebration. There were many spectaculars too. Overall, it is a celebration for the nations of the country.

This year, I am just staying at home for the Merdeka Day to watch TV and surfing internet. This is due to I am too tired to go outside to meet friends! :)

I am wishing Malaysia to have a happy birthday and wish the country will be more harmony, nations will be more happy, and the country becomes stronger and richer! Malaysia Boleh! 1 Malaysia! Let's go for it! Happy Merdeka!!!

Humour Corner :D

Our family was dining out and we have been waiting for quite sometime for our meal. My 10 year-old son got impatient and said, "Mommy, why do they call them waiters (pointing at the waiters)? We are the waiters! "

A Tragic Journey for the Hong Kong Tourists

It has happened a sad world news a few days ago. A group of Hong Kong tourists were having their pleasure travelling happily in the overseas, but it was ended as a tragedy in their last day of travelling.

The group of tourists have been hijacked and ended up 9 of them had lost their lives due to murder by the 'maniac'. Thus, some families have lost their loved ones, ie. parents, husband, son. It really is a shocking news to the whole world. I wonder why would this tragedy happening?!

When I read the news or watching the news on TV pertaining this incident, I really feel sad for it. When it was showing the scenes of the 9 coffins that would expatriate back to HK, it really is a hard feeling for me.

There are a siblings who have lost their parents in this trip, I wish these siblings (15 year-old and 8 year-old) will become strong in their life. May God bless all the survivors in this happenings too.

I believe that with such a shocking news, it's not only I feel sad for them, the whole world will feel the same as I am. I'm wishing this would not be happened again in any place, anywhere and anytime. World Peace!!!

Humour Corner :D

If your dog is barking at the back door and your wife is yelling at the front door, who would you let in first? The dog is of course. He'll shut up once you let him in.
