A surprised Philippines postcard is received in last week. This postcard is sent from Amelie. The postcard is with the view of Baclayon Church. According to Amelia, this is the centuries old church but has destroyed by an earthquake in October 2013. It will take a long time to rebuild it.
Baclayan Church, Tagbilaran City, Bohol, is the second oldest stone church in the Philippines, constructed in 1595 by the Jesuit priests. It has a museum that houses St. Ignacius of Loyola's relics, life- size ivory statue of Jesus Christ and Virgin Mary and gold embroidered church vestments, books and hymnals, 1859 paintings of Liberato Gatchalian and other religious items.
Anyway, I would like to thank Amelie for the postcard. Thank you!!! ^.^
